Open Events 2023-24

Throughout the year, St Andrew's hosts a range of events that open the school to our community.  We welcome visitors and feedback, and therefore continue to open our doors throughout the academic year.  The events will be bookable using links that will appear below once available.

Open Mornings - July 10th, 11th and 12th 2024 

We understand that choosing a secondary school can be daunting.  To help you in making informed decisions, we are opening the school for Open Mornings to prospective students and families. We would love to welcome you on a tour with a member of the Senior Leadership team to see the school in action, help you trial some subjects and hear from the Head about the school's future focused vision.  

These Open Mornings will run on July 10th, 11th and 12th from 9am to 11am.  To book a place on one of these sessions, please click the button below.

Open Evening - 17th September 2024

 

We opened our doors to all prospective students and their families on Tuesday 17th September between 4.30pm and 7.00pm.  Places for one of the two Headteacher's presentations from Ms Lowney are bookable by clicking on the button below. 

The talks were appropriately 30 minutes in length and begin at 5.00pm and 6.00pm.

Autumn Open Mornings - Tours for prospective students

If you would like to see the school in action, we will be offering tours during the school day with a member of our senior leadership team.  During September and October, these are available on set days each week day when you will be shown around the school in a small group by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Students and family members are very welcome (and encouraged!) to join - additional places do not need to be booked.

See our students in lessons, ask about our curriculum offer and find out why our community is so special!

Places will be bookable on one of these tours from July. Should you wish to book a tour outside of these times with our SENDCO, please contact us via email office@sta-worthing.com or telephone 01903 820676.

Open afternoons - Tours for prospective students

If you aren't able to join us on a morning tour, why not book on to an afternoon tour at the end of the school day? 

 

We are also offering tours after school during September.  You will be shown around the school in a small group by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and have an opportunity to ask about our curriculum offer and find out why our community is so special! Students and family members are very welcome (and encouraged!) to join - additional places do not need to be booked.

Information evenings 

We hold information evenings for all year groups, with relevant focuses for each.  The evenings run between 6pm and 7pm, with some evening refreshments for you to enjoy.  The information evenings run within the first few weeks of term.

Booking will be open from July.  Click on the relevant button below to read more about the event and book a place.

Parents' Forum

We hold a regular Parents’ Forums.  These are held after school hours (5.30pm to 6.30pm) and have pre-set agendas.  The purpose of the Parents’ Forums will be to consult on and discuss key topics with our wider community, gaining feedback that will aid the school further improve.  They will be chaired by a member of the leadership team and have other relevant staff members in attendance to lead on agenda items. To allow for rich and meaningful discussions, the agendas will have no more than 3 items.  If you would like to suggest a topic for one of the Parents’ Forum, please email head@sta-worthing.com with your suggestion and a brief overview of your thoughts on adding the topic.

The agendas will be set the half term prior; all events can be booked by clicking the link below once dates are published.
