The first step of joining St Andrew's family is to complete the ‘New Starters Data Collection’ form which you can access by clicking here.

Starting secondary school may seem like a daunting and an overwhelming experience but we have a number of events planned to help ease students into life at St Andrew’s. This will commence with a Welcome & Information evening, held on the evening of Wednesday 25th March. Here you will get to meet myself, as well as some other key members of the School Leadership Team. On this evening you will also receive further information to support you through the transition process, refreshments will be available from 5:30pm and the evening will begin at 6pm.

• Group tours (families) week commencing 16th March to 20th March 9-10am – sign up here 

• Welcome and Information evening (families) Wednesday 25th March 6-7pm

• Year 6 afternoon tea (families) Friday 8th May – 4.00pm - 5.30pm   

• Year 6 transition day (students only) Wednesday 1st July -9.00am to 3.00pm

• Year 6 transition day parents meeting (families) – Wednesday 1st July either 3:15pm – 4:00pm or 4:30pm – 5:15pm

• Summer fair (families) Tuesday 21st July – 2pm – 4pm (please arrive at any time after 2pm, to join our current community at the fair)   

 

We are also aware that some young people need more bespoke support when they experience change.  Our SENDCo Mrs Stewart and our Head of Year 7 will be jointly running additional sessions to support individuals. These sessions will be on invitation only, and further support and sessions will be added for individuals where appropriate.
