I am excited to be able to introduce myself as Headteacher for St Andrew’s.  As we welcome girls for the first time in the school’s modern history, it is definitely true to say that the school is on an incredible journey.  To achieve full inclusivity, embracing all young people from any background, is a cornerstone to our Christian ethos which is at the centre of all we do.

With the move towards co-educational cohorts from September 2021, the adaptation and renovation of facilities to support this a keen, growing focus on the STEM curriculum and a three year trend of improving examination results, I can say with confidence that St Andrew’s is a school ‘going places’.

Our school is a place in which students are known.  We believe that each individual is unique, and our staff work relentlessly to deliver personalised learning and care. Our excellent pastoral system supports this, building compassionate and dynamic relationships with students, families and the wider community.

Every student who joins St Andrew’s is loved, and we believe it is an absolute privilege when a parent chooses to send their child to us.  We will continuously strive to open the most opportunities, enable the most progress and deliver the best outcomes possible for every single child.

Every day is open day at St Andrew's. Please contact reception if you would like a tour of our school at work.
