Senior Assistant Headteacher
Ms H Goss - Character and Conduct
I began my teaching career in Physical Education and promptly moved to a lead pastoral role, overseeing the attendance, academic progress and behaviour of students. During this time, I completed a Masters in Education, specialising in teacher training. As a result of this, I worked alongside the University of Brighton contributing to the provision of initial teacher training in Sussex schools.
Having a passion for teaching in all subject areas, and after completing my NPQSL, I moved into senior leadership in 2019, with responsibility for teaching and learning.
I am pleased to return to a pastoral role as a Senior Assistant Headteacher for character and culture, alongside leading the new Personal Growth and Religious Studies (PGRS) Faculty (RE and PSHE). My role on the leadership team also allows me to lead our Christian ethos to enable children of all faiths and none to flourish as God intended. Supporting every child to do their very best, both personally and academically, is a privilege, I am in my dream job!
Outside of school, I enjoy walking my dogs on our beautiful beaches and gardening.
