The geography department intent is built around education for sustainable development, the majority of lessons should encourage students to have knowledge of the social, economic and environmental choices that shape our decision making. Students should feel they are global citizens who are able to explain and challenge the world they live.
Global citizenship and sustainable develop as well as understanding cultural differences are core areas of our curriculum. All students will be expected to become global citizens who understand that economic, social and environmental challenges have a range of solutions and stakeholders and to understand these, is the first step to making the world a better place.
