Students are required to work in one or more area(s) of photography. Our current curriculum allows students to work in the following areas: portraiture, location photography, studio photography, experimental imagery. We cover 3 coursework project during yr10 and 11 which allow for a range of personal responses from students. The course starts with an introduction to Photoshop developing student’s skills in image making and manipulation which prepares them for the course. Following projects are based upon Identity, Natural forms and Mini Worlds. We incorporate contextual sources from the 20thC and contemporary photographers, who works work inspires students to produce individual creative responses.
